Find your favorite beach

On fine summer days, the beaches of Sola offer shallow water, warm sand between your toes and breeze in your hair. West of the airport is Solastranden, which has previously been named one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Furthermore, beautiful beaches and rocky cliffs are located in a row: Regestranta, Ølbergstrand, Vigdelstrand and Hellestøstrand. Find your favorite beach and relax while enjoying the sun and sea. All beaches have the possibility of parking.

Bathing all year round

For some, the bathing season never ends. Bathing happy people stepping out into the waves on a cold winter day are no longer a rare sight on the beaches of Sola. Year-round bathing has increased in popularity lately. Tananger harbour is also open for swimming all year round. On the sauna boat at Hummeren Hotel you can enjoy the combination of a warm wood-fired sauna and a refreshing bath in the sea. Remember that you need to reserve the sauna boat.

Tananger Sea Bath

You will be looking for a more wonderful bathing place than the sea bath at Myklebust in Tananger. Fresh seawater circulates through the basin. It is designed with minimal intervention in nature and harmonizes seamlessly with the surrounding coastal landscape, surrounded by rocky cliffs and islets. The sea bath has a sandy bottom that provides a comfortable bathing experience. Access to the pool is easy and accessible to all, with paths, stairs and bathing jetty. You can reach the sea bath via the nature trail. There is also parking nearby.

If you prefer less sand and calmer waters, you can find yourself a lovely bathing bay along Hafrsfjord. Ormen Lange is a dear and family-friendly place with great bathing facilities, soft grass mats, a playground, a beach volleyball court and arranged barbecue and seating areas.
