Join Norway's largest and oldest annual kite festival at Hellestø beach.

Ever since 1990, Sola drageklubb has organized dragon parties. In June, several thousand people flock to the beautiful Hellestøstrand to see all the kites in the air or fly their own. The day before the festival, they organize a kite workshop for anyone who wants to make their own kites. Every year professional kite fliers are invited to the festival. These pose with spectacular dragons.

The kite party is back, with both a kite workshop and a spectacular kite drop at Hellestø!

Saturday, May 31:11:00 - 15:00: Build your own kite! Prices from NOK 80, -

Sunday 1 June: 12:00 - 16:00: Kite party at Hellestøstrand and prize to the finest kites!
