On May 29th, 2025, we are inviting everyone to join the public gathering in Solakrossen when the international bike race Tour of Norway, Stage1 - menn, starts and finishes right next to the town hall. The race starts at 13.45 pm and 17 teams from more than 20 nations is competing.

On this occasion, there will be lots of fun for the public in the area around City Hall Square. There will also be a separate children's race with start and finish line at Sande gård, distribution of free ice cream to the participants and several stalls offering a snack to bite in and various activities for children. There will also be an award ceremony for the participants in Tour of Norway on the stage in the Town Hall Square. We have created a map showing the activities around the city hall and along the route through Sola Municipality on this day.

TV2, national television, is covering the event and will have a live broadcast from the square from 3:30pm on and to the end of the event around 19.00 pm.
